A target Audience is the group of people who you are aiming the product at and who you think will buy your product. This is important so that you know who you are making your product for.
what is a USP?
A USP is a Unique selling point which is something about your product that only you have. an example of a USP is Macbook Pro With a touch bar.
What makes a successful advert? and what makes a bad advert
A successful advert will make the person watching / listening interested in what you are advertising and maybe buy it. It also is good if it is memorable, have things that make you feel different emotions. have clear messages, work with professionals, have humour in them.
a bad advert would not make the target audience interested in the product. it would also not be good if they contain things like false advertising as they can get in trouble for this and it is not very good for the person watching the adverts.
Research what you can and can't do in advertising (ASA).
Things that you can not do when advertise:

Basic Broadcasting techniques in an advert
Basic Broadcasting techniques in an advert Analysis
Technical - Camera angles-
there are a few different camera angles in this advert most of them are of the objects that are moving. There are a lot of close up and medium shots of the objects and there was an extreme close up of one of the objects. Some of the camera angles/shots are very smooth which makes the advert look better.
Symbolic - Objects -
The main focus of the the advert is the items that are in the house are being animated to talk and saying things about the house in the advert. the objects were things like teapots, toy dinosaur, umbrella handle, - this is good because it makes people want to watch the advert because they might find the advert entertaining.
Written - Captions-
Towards the end of the Advert the price for a product that they are selling comes up next to it in the middle of the screen. The caption said £299 extendable table this is good because it gives the viewer the price so they might be more likely to buy something if they already have an idea of what the price might be already.
Radio Advert 1: Coke Summer Radio Ad
This Radio Ad contains music sound effects and a voice over this is good because you do not know what the advert is about until the end but it keeps you listening due to the sound effects and voice over. the target audience of this is almost everyone the advert is not serous and does have some humour in it. The Advert. I think it will encourage people to buy it buy most people already know what coca cola is.
Radio Advert 2: Samsung Galaxy S Radio Ad
This advert has someone talking about how good the phone it they say things like "if you could see what I could see" this can make the people listening interested to find out what it is. it also quickly describes what you could be doing with this phone. there are some sound effects in this but it is mainly a voice over and some background music. The Target Audience is teenagers and up. The USP for this is the features that it has.
Radio Advert 3: Worcseter Bosch Radio advert 2018
In this radio advert it is like a recording of someone with a customer and the boiler repair person recommends there boiler and they explain how easy it it . this is good because it sounds like a real conversation so people are more likely to listen to what the advert is saying. This Advert would properly be broadcast on a bigger radio station. because it is a bigger company.
